MEET DR. GROVE HIGGINS
A Career Built Around Movement, Recovery, and Service
Dr. Grove Higgins is a chiropractor, rehabilitation specialist, clinical educator, and healthcare consultant based in Monument, Colorado.
His career began in physical rehabilitation in the early 1990s. Since then, his work has expanded to include chiropractic practice, anatomy and biomechanics education, corporate injury prevention, veteran support, focused shockwave therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and advanced rehabilitation.
At NeuroAthlete Clinic, Dr. Higgins works primarily with people whose pain, injuries, or functional limitations have not responded adequately to conventional care. His approach begins with listening carefully and examining thoroughly. Depending on the case, he may incorporate imaging review, musculoskeletal ultrasound, chiropractic care, focused piezoelectric shockwave therapy, hands-on treatment, and individualized rehabilitation.
He does not believe that every difficult case has one hidden “root cause” or one perfect treatment. Instead, he looks for the mechanical, neurological, tissue-related, metabolic, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to the problem—and then builds a practical plan around the person in front of him.
People have more potential for healing, movement, and meaningful service than they have been led to believe.
AREAS OF WORK
Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation
Dr. Higgins evaluates and treats complex musculoskeletal conditions at NeuroAthlete Clinic in Monument, Colorado.
His clinical work combines careful history-taking, physical examination, imaging review, musculoskeletal ultrasound when appropriate, focused shockwave therapy, chiropractic care, soft-tissue treatment, and movement-based rehabilitation.
His particular interest is helping patients with persistent pain, tendon and soft-tissue injuries, incomplete recovery, and difficult cases that require more than a routine treatment protocol.
Clinical Education and Consulting
Dr. Higgins teaches healthcare professionals how to use focused shockwave therapy thoughtfully and responsibly.
His educational work includes applied anatomy, treatment targeting, tissue depth, clinical decision-making, dosage considerations, rehabilitation integration, and recognizing when shockwave is—or is not—the appropriate tool.
He also consults on repetitive-strain disorders, clinical workflow, injury prevention, rehabilitation strategy, and the responsible integration of emerging technologies into patient care.
His purpose is not simply to promote a treatment device. It is to help clinicians think more clearly, evaluate more carefully, and treat more precisely.
